Bilbao-based WIVI Vision secures €4 million in funding. Adara Ventures, an early-stage venture capital company that funds deep tech businesses with a presence in Europe, led this investment.

Bilbao-based WIVI Vision secures €4 million in funding. Adara Ventures, an early-stage venture capital company that funds deep tech businesses with a presence in Europe, led this investment.

With collaboration from existing partners including Peak Thomas (Pedro Tortosa), VC Go GMBH, Banco Santander, Avançsa, Caixabank DayOne, BBVA Spark, and Hearstlab, among others.

The Series A fundraising round, which consists of a combination of loan and equity, will support the development of new technologies, team expansion, and the company's efforts to grow both domestically and internationally.

Having already raised €7 million, WIVI Vision hopes that this fresh capital will enable the company to make even more progress toward its objective of turning into a genuine force for modernization and change in the optical and visual health industries.

Eva García Ramos, CEO and co-founder of WIVI Vision, commented: “This new funding represents the confidence in our business model and support of investors, which will allow us to continue advancing in our ambitious growth plan in both the domestic and international markets. With the intention of entering new nations in the upcoming years, WIVI Vision intends to increase its footprint throughout the nation. The company intends to expand its workforce in order to support its global expansion with the help of this additional funding.
