The round was led by funders.vc, with additional support from Alex Garin, CEO at sect.dev, and other mobile industry investors.

Igor Lyubimov, Founder and CEO of web2wave said, “Developers are tired of losing revenue and data to platform middlemen, We’re building a new path — one that gives devs independence, better margins, and full control of their audience, without compromising on UX.”

It offers a browser-based alternative to the Apple App Store and Google Play, where developers usually lose up to 30% of their revenue and face strict rules on user data. The platform combines mobile web onboarding with native app quality, helping developers convert users more quickly, reduce user drop-off, and control the entire growth process.

It expects to generate €1.55 million in revenue by March 2025 and currently serves over 6 million monthly users in areas such as fitness, productivity, health, and learning.

With the new funding, web2wave plans to grow its product and engineering teams, improve user onboarding features, and expand its integrations. The company will also support indie app creators and increase marketing in key markets in Europe and North America.
