Visma acquires the software company behind the legal system Legis 365. With the acquisition, Visma enters the legal profession in Denmark and will henceforth strengthen iVISION's position in the market through growth and development of one of the country's most intuitive legal systems.

iVISION was founded in 1998 by Leif Lindås, who since then, with several partners behind him, has focused on developing what is today among the market's most intuitive and user-friendly total IT solutions for Danish lawyers.

Legis 365 streamlines the work of more than 300 Danish law firms by bringing together client and case management, e-mail integration, document management, time registration and invoicing in one cloud-based solution, which already allows integration to other software solutions in Visma such as the accounting program e-conomic, electronic invoicing in Sproom and Creditro, which automate companies' processes to combat money laundering and fraud.

Mikael Westöö, Business Area Director at Visma said,"We are very excited to be able to welcome iVISION to Visma. Leif Lindås and partners have created a healthy business with a modern and flexible solution that challenges and contrasts with the more classic and often heavy legal systems. Legis 365 is therefore a valuable addition to Visma's ecosystem, and we see great potential in greater utilization of the synergies between Legis 365 and Visma's other business-critical software solutions for the benefit of both current and potential customers,".

Until now, iVISION has focused on the small and medium-sized law firms, but with Visma behind it and the partners' knowledge and many years of experience from the industry, there is great potential for growth by looking towards the industry's larger law firms as well as other types of project-oriented companies and consulting houses in other industries.

Jesper Byskov, partner in iVISION said, "Over the years, we have helped many startups get started and helped smaller law firms on their digitization journey away from the old, traditional and paper-filled offices and into the cloud. Now we are ready for the next step together with Visma, where we look forward to developing our solution and further strengthen our collaboration with both e-conomic and Creditro for the benefit of our existing customers. In addition, we see great potential in exploring the possibilities of reaching a wider range of companies both in and outside the industry and across national borders,"
