Vessla Raises €2.94 Million in Pre-Seed Funding to Build AI Operating System for Real Estate

Stockholm-based AI startup Vessla has emerged from stealth with €2.94 million ($3.3 million) in pre-seed funding. The company is developing an AI-powered operating system designed to help real estate businesses manage their work more efficiently.

SUMMARY

  • Vessla raised €2.94 million ($3.3 million) in pre-seed funding.
  • The round was led by Seedcamp, with participation from Inception Fund, Tiny VC, and angel investors.
  • Uses AI agents to automate property management tasks and connect existing software systems.

The funding round was more than twice oversubscribed and was led by Seedcamp. Other investors included Inception Fund, Tiny VC, operators from Lovable and OpenAI, and founders Lukas Saari of Tandem Health and Fredrik Hjelm of Voi and Pit. Several angel investors also participated in the round.

“We believe AI will fundamentally change how property companies operate, from maintenance and costs to leasing and rental income. The hard part is making it work at scale across the systems and processes those companies already rely on. That is what we are building. As AI takes on more of the execution, people’s judgment, relationships and responsibility become even more important,” said Orman Gazvini, CEO of Vessla.

“Property operations combine recurring work with complex processes and exceptions that require judgment. Vessla is building for both. The Vessla team has expertise in developing bleeding edge AI applications, and their experience from deploying those in high-stakes enterprise settings play a big role in why they are seeing such interest from leading players in the industry in such a short time,” said Felix Martinez, Partner at Seedcamp.

Founded earlier this year, Vessla aims to solve a common problem in property management: information is spread across different software systems. Employees often have to switch between platforms to complete simple tasks. For example, handling a maintenance request may involve checking property records, contacting a supplier, updating a work order, and tracking an invoice.

Vessla uses AI agents that work with existing software systems. These agents use relevant information and business rules to carry out tasks more efficiently. However, decisions that require human judgement remain with the people responsible for making them.

The startup is also developing an operating system that connects different areas of property management, including leasing, building operations, and investment planning. The platform aims to help property teams manage their work across entire property portfolios.

Vessla allows property teams to set priorities and retain control over important decisions. Its AI agents can identify ways to increase rental income, reduce operating costs, coordinate tasks, and help carry out work across a property portfolio.
