
UK-based motoring and cycling products and services provider Halfords Group plc secure $3m in funding from Bridgestone.
Bridgestone has invested $5 million in Halford's automotive Software as a service (SaaS) company, Avayler. The company was established in July 2021 and is valued at $60.5 million. In addition, Bridgestone will be able to use Avayler's products at retail establishments and mobile applications thanks to a commercial partnership.

Halfords generated an in-house Avayler SaaS solution to manage automotive services throughout its vast network of garages and increasing fleet of mobile vans. By providing a far better customer experience, it offers an integrated solution that gives automotive businesses with various locations a competitive edge.

It runs 643 garages (trading as Halfords Autocentres, McConechy's, Universal, National Tyres, and Lodge Tyre), 393 Halfords stores, 2 Performance Cycling stores (trading as Tredz and Giant), 264 mobile service vans (trading as Halfords Mobile Expert, Tyres on the Drive, and National), 479 commercial vans, and 5 HME Cycling vans.
Here at Halfords, the trip is important. They are the top automotive and cycling product retailer in the UK, with over 600 locations and over 10,000 employees. In addition, they are the top supplier of MOTs, tyres, auto repairs, and car maintenance, serving over 750,000 satisfied clients annually.
