Twogee Biotech uses a predictive development platform that combines enzyme screening, strain engineering and fermentation, enabling more efficient biomass utilization.
This approach helps industrial partners create circular low CO₂ value chains by shortening development timelines and minimizing risks during scale-up.
Frank Wallrapp, CEO of Twogee Biotech, said that many industrial residual streams contain untapped economic potential and that the company supports partners in accessing this value through solutions designed for straightforward integration and clear commercial benefits.
Twogee Biotech will use the newly raised capital to further develop its technology and accelerate commercialisation. The company has already completed initial MVPs and paid pilot projects with industrial partners.
It plans to adopt a licensing model allowing local enzyme production at customer sites reducing costs and emissions while supporting decentralised circular value chains.
About Twogee Biotech
Twogee Biotech develops customised enzyme solutions that enable the efficient conversion of agricultural residues such as wheat straw corn stover and bagasse into valuable raw materials. Through advanced enzyme discovery and production strain engineering the company supports sustainable low CO₂ biomass conversion and circular bio-based value chains.
