UK-based TalkLife secures an undisclosed amount of funding from Telus Ventures. With an emphasis on strengthening its position in the North American market, the company plans to use the money to expand its reach.
TalkLife, under the leadership of CEO Jamie Druitt, creates virtual communities online where individuals can provide and receive mental health help. In addition to skilled clinical moderation, real-time escalation, and cutting-edge machine learning technology, it provides instant interaction to people who might be feeling alone or lonely.
