SUMMARY

  • Stockholm-based Tzafon has closed an €8.3M pre-Seed round to boost its AI capabilities and launch "Lightcone"—an autonomous agent that can operate across any app or platform.

The round, Sweden’s largest pre-Seed to date, was led by HV Capital with backing from Streamlined VC, Kakao VC, Oliver Jung, and angels from OpenAI and xAI.

“Our vision at Tzafon is to build agents from the ground up that are capable of collaborating across any digital, and in the future physical environment,” said Noah Löfquist, CEO and Co-founder of Tzafon. “This round enables us to significantly expand our compute resources to train smarter, better, and more agentic AI models. And launch Lightcone, which will reduce the friction between intention and action across any digital device.”

Founded in 2024, Tzafon is building AI agents designed to take real action—not just generate content. Their multi-agent systems automate complex digital tasks, boosting efficiency for both businesses and consumers.

Using advanced machine learning, reinforcement learning, and a proprietary AI framework, Tzafon’s tech has already shown top-tier performance in web-based tasks on OSWorld.

While AI has made strides in writing and design, Tzafon believes the real challenge—taking actions—is just beginning.

“It’s inevitable that AI will go beyond read/ write and move into the realm of actions. There’s a huge gap in the market with many infrastructure challenges to make agents lightning fast, scalable, and more autonomous when it comes to performing tasks. It’s an emerging and fast changing space as is with all other aspects of AI.

“The Tzafon team continues to release agents that are highly performant and able to function cross platform. An amazing feat for a team that’s just getting started,” added Lina Chong, Partner at HV Capital.

With the new funding, Tzafon will scale its compute infrastructure, speed up product development, and strengthen its market position.

Soon, customers will be able to directly access “Lightcone” and tap into the power of Tzafon’s agentic AI technology.

“Our approach fundamentally reshapes how people leverage AI, providing not just incremental improvements but transformational results” Löfquist concluded.
