SURE Mobility Merger news – SURE Mobility and Smart Wheelz Merge to Create a Leading Dutch E-Vehicle Rental Company

Why the Merger?

SURE Mobility founder Patrick De Wit and Smart Wheelz co-founders Audrey Winters and Stuart Wehnes have previously worked together and see this merger as a way to enhance rental services. The merged company will provide a broader selection of e-vehicles and shared mobility solutions for rental partners, customers, and users.

The merged entity will focus on producing, selling, and renting electric vehicles for leisure and tourism. It will also develop shared mobility solutions, including Multi Mobility Charging Islands (MMCI), Smart e-Locks, PlugManager, PACO Display, Bicycle as a Service (BaaS), and DRIVE Software Solutions.

Smart Wheelz’ E-chopper, a popular electric scooter for rentals and private sales, will become part of SURE Mobility’s product range. The new company will be based in Terneuzen, managing inventory, service, and logistics while showcasing its sustainable e-vehicles.

Founded in 2021, Smart Wheelz BV is a wholesaler of electric vehicles, including the E-chopper, which serves both private and leisure markets. Based in Goes, the company offers rentals for events like company outings and group tours.

Each E-chopper undergoes quality checks before delivery, and users can book, track, and manage their vehicles through the Smart Wheelz App. The Smart Bookings platform provides e-chopper rentals at multiple locations, insured by ZEGO with no deposit required.
