Supersimple, an AI-native data analytics platform that allows anyone to examine data and precisely respond to complicated questions in minutes secures €2 million in pre-seed funding.

Tera Ventures is leading the pre-seed round, with participation from Specialist VC, Tiny VC, and a range of angel investors, including the creators of Sixfold and Grünfin, as well as the former CTO of Twilio.

The money will be put towards expanding the client base and improving explainable AI technology. The Supersimple team consists of product designers, data scientists, and software developers with a track record of creating widely used technology and profitable enterprises.

Co-founder and CTO Priit Haamer worked with co-founder and CEO Marko Klopets at Sixfold, where they co-founded the company. The AI-based business eventually sold for $2 billion after merging with Transporeon. Sixfold is home to the majority of Supersimple's machine learning engineering staff.

With the help of cutting-edge explainable AI and a semantic data modelling layer, Supersimple's AI-native data analytics platform provides users with dependable, consistent data to support their daily tasks.

In order to help teams at B2B SaaS enterprises address their own ad hoc data concerns, Supersimple was created expressly. It enables non-technical team members to go far beyond pre-built dashboards in order to obtain data insights and improve decision-making.

Marko Klopets, co-founder and CEO at Supersimple said, “Most of the value in data doesn’t come from staring at a dashboard. Instead, it comes from deep, specific questions – testing hypotheses, exploring and iterating. Supersimple was built around this insight to help teams always have the right information to make great decisions, Making structured data from data warehouses accessible and usable is the first step towards Supersimple becoming the operating system of the fastest growing companies.”

Despite the advancements in current data stacks, organisations are still only beginning to fully realise the potential of getting the right information to the right people. Large language models and other recent developments in data warehouses and machine learning have made it feasible to create whole new user interfaces that identify and clarify important data insights and allow users to investigate any further queries.

According to Supersimple, in order to provide the degree of adaptability and trust necessary for organisations and for mission-critical operations, purpose-built, comprehensive platforms are necessary. Additionally, the business is emphasising design and user experience in a field where those aspects have typically been marginalised.

With its no-code and plain language interfaces, the Supersimple data analytics platform enables anybody to respond to ad hoc, sophisticated data questions without the need to learn or be familiar with technologies like Python or SQL or think in terms of database principles.

Supersimple's an AI startup removes hidden hallucinations by explaining every step it takes when users ask questions in plain English, ensuring that users can always rely on the answers.

As a result, the data team is freed up from handling a large number of data requests, allowing them to concentrate on strategic data initiatives that benefit the entire company and strengthen the organisation as a whole.

Eamonn Carey, partner at Tera Ventures said, “Over the last few years, data warehouses have become ubiquitous and data stacks are better than ever. Yet companies are still struggling to actually make use of their data, When I heard Marko explain his vision and I saw the platform in action, it became crystal clear that this is what the future would look like.”
