Seaya raises €600M for new growth fund to back Europe's next global tech leaders

Spanish investment platform Seaya has launched Seaya Nova, a new growth fund that has raised €600 million in its first close within six months. The fund will invest €20 million to €50 million in each company.

The fund is backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF) through the European Tech Champions Initiative (ETCI), along with institutional investors, companies and family offices.

Seaya Nova is led by Seaya Founder and Managing Partner Beatriz González and Vinoth Jayakumar, who joins as Managing Partner. Jayakumar has over a decade of experience in European growth investing and has backed companies such as Revolut, Wise, Thought Machine and ICEYE.

The leadership team combines Seayas experience in supporting European startups with Jayakumar’s growth investment expertise. Seaya has also opened a new office in London, alongside its Madrid headquarters, to strengthen its presence in Europe’s technology market.

About Seaya

Beatriz González, founder of Seaya and Managing Partner of Seaya Nova, says: “Seaya Nova is the natural evolution of what we have built over thirteen years. We started backing Public founders at the earliest stage, we added a sustainability strategy with Seaya Andromeda, and now we can stay with the best European companies all the way to global leadership.

Vinoth Jayakumar, Managing Partner of Seaya Nova, adds: “Europe now produces companies capable of leading their categories globally. The question is no longer whether they can be built here, but whether they can be scaled from here. AI is compressing the path from product-market fit to category leadership, and the capital that decides the winner is needed earlier and in larger amounts.

Seaya is a European technology investment firm founded in Madrid in 2013. It invests through three funds: Seaya Ventures for early-stage startups, Seaya Andromeda for sustainability-focused companies and Seaya Nova for growth-stage businesses.
