SAEKI funding news - Swiss Manufacturing Automation Company SAEKI Secures $6.7 Million in Funding

Swiss manufacturing automation company SAEKI has raised $6.7 million in funding, bringing its total funding to over $8 million. With global supply chains under pressure and costs rising manufacturing is facing major challenges.

SUMMARY

  • Swiss manufacturing automation company SAEKI has raised $6.7 million in funding, bringing its total funding to over $8 million.
  • SAEKI builds and runs the world’s most efficient automated factories for 3D printing, milling, and inspecting large, critical parts.

Industries like aerospace, automotive, and construction are dealing with long lead times and high costs for large parts, relying on fragmented supply chains and manual processes.

It is different from traditional manufacturers. It combines large-scale 3D printing with precision CNC machining in one system. This hybrid approach allows the company to produce high-quality components in just days instead of weeks. Automated quality checks ensure that every part meets industry standards speeding up delivery and lowering costs.

The company also launched a new platform that lets customers upload designs and get instant quotes for precision parts, reducing the procurement time from days to minutes.

A global car manufacturer reported that using SAEKI’s 3D-printed composite tooling cut their production time by two weeks, with delivery taking just one week compared to the usual six weeks.

Andrea Perissinotto, co-founder and CEO of SAEKI said, "There's an exponential and widening divide between what we can design and actually build, While engineers can now use AI to create hundreds of optimised designs, legacy manufacturing simply can't deliver these components cost-effectively.”

SAEKI's technology helps reduce waste, speed up production, and bring important manufacturing jobs back to Europe. By relying less on overseas suppliers, the company supports sustainability and stronger supply chains.

The funding was led by Lightbird, with contributions from Founderful, 2100VC, Danobat, and several well-known investors.

Thomas Meier Partner at Lightbird: “Global supply chains are under pressure with rising costs and delays becoming the norm. SAEKI’s ability to deliver high-quality components quickly and reliably sets a new standard for the industry.”

The investment will speed up SAEKI's work on creating fully automated factories that combine quoting, 3D printing, machining, and inspection into one smooth process.

About SAEKI

SAEKI builds and runs the world’s most efficient automated factories for 3D printing, milling, and inspecting large, critical parts. Europe’s industry faces delays because it relies on small, outdated shops that only use traditional methods to make large parts.
