Robutler Raises $400K to Build the “YouTube of Software”

Robutler has built a public platform that offers professional apps for documents, presentations, design, video, engineering, whiteboards, project management, music and games. All apps are free to use and include real-time collaboration.

The platform also allows creators to publish their own apps and let other users remix and improve them. Creators can earn a share of the revenue when their apps are used, while also sharing revenue with the creators whose work they built on.

"Think of Robutler as the YouTube of software," said Volodymyr Seliuchenko, Founder and CEO of Robutler.

"Here every app is free to use, and Robutler pays the makers whose apps get used, along with the makers they remixed from. It is a shift from renting software to a community building it together."

Robutler’s platform includes a technology layer called the Web of Agents. It allows different apps and AI agents to discover each other and work together using natural language.

The platform can also connect with external AI assistants and coding tools, including Claude and Codex. This allows users to work with different AI tools through the Robutler platform.

Robutler has filed three patent applications covering how AI agents find each other, how they are ranked for trust and how app usage is tracked to calculate payments for creators. The company has also published its TrustFlow research on arXiv.

Robutler has built two open protocols, Agent OAuth and UAMP, to help AI agents manage identity and communicate with each other across different organisations.
