The round attracted strong interest from both new and existing investors, mainly from Norway’s Rogaland region. The funding will support growth, strategic development, and strengthen the company’s balance sheet.
Roboxi founded in 2018 and based in Stavanger, develops autonomous AI-driven solutions for airport airside operations, including runway taxiway and apron inspection and maintenance. The company’s systems enhance safety, regulatory compliance and efficiency while reducing operational costs for airports.
Its technology detects and removes Foreign Object Debris (FOD), integrates with airport systems via APIs, and digitises maintenance workflows.

Roboxi also uses AI, cameras, and robotics to identify runway light faults, monitor surfaces in real time, and perform continuous bird detection and deterrence.
The company has achieved key milestones, including developing the world’s first AI-based FOD detection and collection system in collaboration with Avinor and the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority.
Its solutions are deployed or tested at major airports including Schiphol, Frankfurt, Dallas, Firenze, and Stavanger.
