Berlin-based venture capital firm Robin Capital has closed its second fund, raising €15 million.

SUMMARY

  • Robin Capital has closed its second fund, raising €15 million and bringing total commitments across its two funds to €30 million.
  • Founded in 2023 by Robin Haak, the Berlin-based VC firm invests in pre-Seed and Seed-stage European startups.

With this new fund, the firm has secured a total of €30 million across its two early-stage funds. The new fund is called Robin Capital Fund II.

Robin Haak, Founder and General Partner at Robin Capital, says: “They call it a Solo GP, but nothing about building Robin Capital has ever been solo. Our limited partners, founders, and venture partners are what make this possible. We believe the best venture capital partnerships are built on trust, conviction, and a genuine willingness to help one another succeed.”

Robin adds: “We want to build a home for exceptional founders, and stay with them long enough to help build exceptional companies.”

Founded in 2023 by entrepreneur and investor Robin Haak, Robin Capital invests in early-stage European startups at the pre-Seed and Seed stages. The firm mainly focuses on AI, enterprise software, robotics, defence, space and DeepTech.

Robin Capital usually invests between €100,000 and €600,000 in early-stage companies, mainly across Europe. It does not limit its investments to specific sectors. Instead, the firm looks for founders working on big market opportunities and building businesses with strong growth potential.

The firm is backed by a diverse group of investors, including entrepreneurs, founders of unicorn companies, technology executives, family offices and people with experience in venture capital and private equity.

Its limited partners include entrepreneurs and families linked to companies such as Ferrari, Moratti, Adyen and FTMO. The investor network also includes people connected to firms such as Permira, Macquarie and FJ Labs.

Robin Capital follows a Solo General Partner (Solo GP) model, with Robin Haak leading its investment decisions. He is supported by a network of venture partners, limited partners and more than 100 experienced industry professionals.
