[Funding alert] UK-based Red Rover Interactive Raises Over €14 Million in Series A Round Funding

This round takes place just 11 months after the over €4.7 million Seed, and less than a year after the original conception. Together with current investors The Games Fund, Behold Ventures, GEM Capital, Lifelike Capital, and Acequia Capital, Tirta Ventures and Overwolf have also made investments.

Red Rover Interactive plans to expedite the creation of its debut release, codenamed "Project Coltrane," with the help of this additional money.

Red Rover has reached a major milestone with this funding initiative, which will allow the studio to grow its workforce, go forward with the project's development, and establish a strong presence in the market. The game offers players a unique combination of goal-driven PVP and social sandbox survival, challenging the norms of the survival genre.
