Qover Marks 10 years With $12M In Growth Funding From CIBC

Founded in 2016 by Quentin Colmant and Jean-Charles Velge Qover set out to simplify insurance and make it more transparent and accessible across borders using technology.

Today, the company is a leading player in European insurtech, delivering embedded insurance programs for global brands including Revolut, Mastercard, BMW, Monzo, bunq, Canyon and Trust Travel (TUI) across more than 32 countries.

Qover now protects 15 million users through its platform and aims to reach 55 million by the end of 2026 supported by a strong pipeline of partner programs currently being implemented.

Over the past four years the company has achieved 3x revenue growth, with total gross written premium (GWP) exceeding $173 million.

The additional growth capital from CIBC will support Qover’s continued investment in its orchestration platform, AI capabilities, and operational infrastructure as it moves into its next phase of growth.
