Promptwatch Raises €6 Mn in Seed Round led by Seed + speed Ventures

Amsterdam-based Promptwatch, an AI Search Optimisation (GEO) platform, has raised €6 million in a Seed funding round.

SUMMARY

  • Promptwatch raised €6 million in a Seed round led by seed + speed Ventures.
  • The startup helps businesses improve their AI search visibility and serves 1,840+ organisations.
  • The funding will accelerate the growth of its AI search optimisation platform.

The funding round was led by seed + speed Ventures, with participation from Blum Ventures. Arches Capital also invested again after supporting the company's pre-Seed round in September last year.

Gijs de Groot, CEO and co-founder of Promptwatch, said," The company is focused on helping organisations better understand and improve how they are represented in AI-generated search results."

He added: "In less than a year, we've built advanced capabilities including our Content Agent, Actions and Model Context Protocol (MCP), which connects Promptwatch to AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude. With Agentic AI Search Optimisation, we're making it easier for organisations to scale their AI search marketing through automated execution."

Founded in 2025 by Gijs de Groot and Klaas Foppen, Promptwatch helps businesses understand how they appear in AI-generated search results and improve their online visibility.

More than 1,840 organisations, including Duolingo, Fireflies, and Monks, use the platform to monitor and improve their AI search presence.

As AI-powered search becomes more popular, businesses are looking for better ways to manage how they appear in AI-generated search results and reach more customers.

Unlike traditional search engines, AI platforms can mention brands, compare companies, and provide information without clearly showing how the content was selected. This makes it harder for businesses to track and improve their online visibility.
