Paris-based enterprise software startup Pigment has raised $250 million in a new funding round, valuing the company at $2.3 billion. The funding will help the company continue growing its business and expand its technology.

SUMMARY

  • Paris-based startup Pigment has raised $250 million in a Series E funding round at a $2.3 billion valuation.
  • The round was led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, with participation from World Innovation Labs and existing investors.
  • The company will use the funding to boost research and development and expand its engineering team.

Pigment provides a business planning platform that helps companies manage their finances, plan operations and forecast future performance. It competes with tools from companies such as Microsoft, SAP, IBM and Anaplan.

The Series E funding round was led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, a €5 billion investment fund managed by EQT that aims to help promising European technology companies grow. World Innovation Labs also participated in the round.

Existing investors, including Greenoaks, Iconiq, IVP and Meritech, also joined the round, along with Nvidia, whose investment had been announced earlier. The funding follows Pigment’s $145 million Series D round in 2024, led by Iconiq.

Pigment co-founders Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli said, "Enterprise planning will change more in the next few years than it has in the last thirty. Legacy tools are being left behind, and the world's most advanced AI companies now run their planning on Pigment. With the backing of our investors, we are moving fast to make autonomous planning a reality for every enterprise. With AI agents running planning workflows end to end and turning decisions into action, companies can respond to change as fast as it happens."
