Payretailers acquisition news – Spain-based Fintech Company PayRetailers Acquired Transfeera

PayRetailers, a fintech company with headquarters in Spain, has purchased Transfeera, a Brazilian payment company. The Administrative Council for Economic Defence and the Central Bank of Brazil must both approve the transaction.

  • PayRetailers, a fintech company with headquarters in Spain, has purchased Transfeera, a Brazilian payment company.

It's strategic aim to expand in Brazil includes this purchase. The Central Bank of Brazil granted the business a licence to function as a payment institution (IP) in April. After the deal closes, Transfeera will continue to provide its services and join the PayRetailers group.

Juan Pablo Jutgla, founder and CEO of PayRetailers said, "We have already added some global acquisitions. The time has come to consolidate our leadership in Brazil as the largest processor of high-complexity payments, offering an even wider range of products. We should soon announce new acquisitions on other continents, consolidating our position as a reference in payment methods,".

Transfeera, which was established in 2017, provides technology and platform solutions for bank data validation and payment processing. Transfeera hires 62 people and brings in over 450 new clients. With this expansion, PayRetailers now employs 550 people globally, spread over ten offices, including 100 in Brazil.

About PayRetailers

The goal of PayRetailers, which was established in 2017 in Barcelona, is to democratise financial goods and make everyday administration easier for everyone. Their primary goal was to create an online payment system that would link multinational corporations with their Latin American clientele over a safe and easily navigable network.
