SBI Investments is leading their investment round (located in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Executive Officer, Chairman and President: Yoshitaka Kitao, hereinafter SBI Investment), one of Japan's leading venture capital funds, leading OQC's $100 million round.

Quantum computers will create a world-changing $1.3 trillion business opportunity, capable of reshaping and transforming entire industries as well as creating and developing entirely new industries. Global Investment Summit, OQC announced that SBI Investment, one of Japan's leading venture capital funds, will lead OQC's $100 million Series B financing. In addition to existing investors Oxford Science Enterprises, University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners, Lansdowne Partners, and Oxford Technology & Innovations EIS Fund, this round was decided by a new investor with Oxford Investment Consultants as manager.
This round is the UK's largest ever Series B in quantum computing, with industry-leading research and development paving the way to quantum supremacy and delivering the next generation platform of hundreds of qubits to businesses around the world.

This will further enhance the ability of OQC to provide. Global Investment Summit cements OQC and the UK's position as a global leader in quantum technology.
