- The investment will strengthen Omio's growth and presence across Asia.
The company will use the funding to expand its business in Japan and strengthen its presence across Southeast Asia, where travel demand is growing.
The investment came from Granite-Integral, a joint venture between Granite Asia and Integral Corporation. The announcement follows Omio's recent agreement to acquire Rail Europe, helping the company grow its global travel business.
Naren Shaam, Founder and CEO of Omio, says: “Japan is one of the most exciting travel markets in the world today. Millions of travellers visit every year, but planning journeys across different operators and transport modes can still be complex, particularly beyond the major cities.
