[Funding alert] Catalan Startup Manina Medtech Secures €1.75 Million in Funding

Catalan startup Manina Medtech secures €1.75 million in funding to support the efficacy of IVF embryo implantation.
With the help of a sensor built into the transfer catheter, the company has created SEEDCHRONY, a device that allows an AI to instantly assess the uterine environment for embryo implantation.

This implies that the transfer can take place at the optimal time for success, raising the currently low birth rates associated with this kind of treatment to over 30%.
Leading the funding round was Medex Partners, with support from the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación via its national scientific research and transfer programme, as well as investments from a group of business angels.
