Lupin Dental Raises €15 Mn to Advance Robotic Technology for Dental Care

The funding round was led by Fynveur, which invested €10 million. Existing investors and private investors also took part in the round. The company also received additional funding through a loan from Bpifrance.

Fynveur and its advisor, Invus, will work closely with Lupin Dental and provide strategic advice and operational support. An Invus representative will also join Lupin Dental’s board.

Founded in 2019 by Dr. Gürel and Dr. Koubi, Lupin Dental is a robotics company focused on the dental industry. It develops robotic technologies to make dental procedures more precise and efficient.

The company aims to improve treatment accuracy, clinical workflows, and patient outcomes. Its technology is designed to help dentists perform complex procedures with greater control.

Lupin Dental was created to bring supervised automation to dental treatments such as veneers. Its main product is the Lupin® Robotic System, which helps with minimally invasive tooth preparation.

The system includes software that allows dentists to design a patient’s final smile and create a treatment plan for preparing the teeth.

Once the plan is ready, the robotic workstation carries out the procedure. It prepares the patient’s tooth accurately so it is ready for the final dental restoration, such as a veneer or other prosthesis.
