One of it's unique selling points is the platform's ability to continuously compute real-time data in volumes as large as millions of entries. By using a "building block" mechanism, the platform offers customers "out-of-the-box" functionalities that are simple to install.
Serial entrepreneurs Daniel Angelhoff (ex-Trustly), Rikard Javelind (ex-EF Education First), and Albert Lundberg (ex-EF Education First) started the business in 2024.
Lemonado co-founder and CEO Albert Lundberg stated: “Conventional ways of working with data are outdated and cumbersome. We’re in the decade of data; we must incorporate more automation to maintain and enhance productivity. Lemonado exists to give people closest to the problem the tools to solve that very issue.”
Nordic venture capital firm node.vc led the round, with Alexander Aghassipour, partner at Nordic Makers and co-founder of Zendesk, participating.
Chris Albinsson, node.vc partner and co-founder, who is joining the Lemonado board, shared: “We see tremendous potential in Lemonado and align with their mission to automate arduous tasks and build what they need, shaping the modern workplace by giving workers easy-to-use tools that make work simpler and more collaborative. We also like the team’s product-led growth approach, which we already see early proof-points of.”
Nordic Makers partner and Zendesk co-founder Alexander Aghassipour:
“There are parallels between Lemonado’s founding journey and my own with Zendesk — seeing the problem first-hand and getting on with building the solution.”
The money will increase Lemonado's service offering, technology development, and community engagement teams, resulting in international product-led growth. This will involve content marketers, growth hackers, and more senior technologists.
