As Europe moves toward more digital tax systems, A-Cube aims to grow beyond compliance and become a broader platform for integrated digital trade.
The company’s leadership highlighted that global taxation is rapidly evolving with countries like Italy leading the shift toward digital and automated reporting systems.
“Global taxation is undergoing a radical shift, where regulatory changes and technological innovation are converging towards increasingly digital and integrated reporting models,” says Antonino Caccamo, co-founder and CTO of A-Cube. “Italy has been a pioneer in this space, particularly with the recent mandates on electronic payments, came into force on 20 April. This trend is now sweeping across Europe, with the VIDA (VAT in the Digital Age) directive set for 2028, real-time tax reporting will gradually become the standard.
The fund will help A-Cube expand across key European markets and further develop its platform. The company also plans to extend its solutions into additional digital tax reporting areas supporting changing regulations and the needs of multinational businesses operating across different countries.
