Amsterdam-based Volta Ventures Launches €20Mn Fund To Back B2B Startups

The fund will back around 15 startups and is supported by experienced entrepreneurs from the Netherlands and Belgium.

Volta is increasing its focus on early-stage SaaS development in the Benelux region through its new fund. “AI is enabling startups to build solutions at a scale and speed that simply wasn’t possible before,” says Sander Vonk, co-founder and Managing Partner at Volta.

The new fund, Volta Ventures Seed, has already made its first two investments:Langwatch (Amsterdam) focuses on monitoring and improving AI language models and Predikt (Leuven) specializes in AI-powered forecasting and analytics.

Volta Ventures invests in B2B software startups across the Benelux region, with offices in Ghent, Antwerp, and Amsterdam.
They focus on the earliest stages of funding, like pre-seed and seed rounds.

Volta works closely with founders in the early phases of their startup journey, offering investments between €100,000 and €1 million.

Volta Ventures has already invested in over 40 companies, with several having been acquired, including Cashforce (acquired by TIS), Scailable (acquired by Network Optix), WidgetBrain (acquired by Quinyx), Qualifio (acquired by QNTM) and Keyrock, which claims to be a European market leader in its domain.
