Dutch-based residential sustainability startup HomeZero secures an investment from The Sharing Group (TSG). The investment enables the Haarlem start-up to further expand their white-label marketplace model for home sustainability. HomeZero has now connected the first customers.
The white label marketplace model for making homes more sustainable What sets HomeZero apart is that it is fully equipped as a white-label marketplace for making homes more sustainable.
HomeZero provides the platform and links supply and demand in a high-quality manner. From a targeted shop for solar panels or heat pumps to setting up a complete marketplace model for making the home more sustainable.
The marketplace is set up in consultation with the customer. The basic principle is that the end customer always remains in control. HomeZero is aware that the challenge lies not only on the demand side, but that the supply side deserves attention.
Mike Out, CEO HomeZero said,“Other solutions are needed for the next phases of sustainability within existing buildings. It has to be faster, smarter and, above all, together. With HomeZero and our open platform PICO, we help to convert the ample sustainable interest among homeowners into real action. And we ensure optimal use of the scarce installation capacity.”
Henri de Jong, CEO of The Sharing Group says, “We see that people often want to become more sustainable, but simply do not know how to find the right solution or cannot finance this. Together with HomeZero, we can work on solutions that remove these barriers.”
HomeZero is a start-up with an experienced team of specialists. The three Founders have known each other from the past and have done several projects together.
Mike Out, gained his experience as Head of Product and Innovation at Guidion and at Evoyo (formerly Econic) as Head of Digital. Rens Hagen, as a project developer, has gained a lot of knowledge within the installation market.
As CTO and Mendix MVP, Hunter Koppen is responsible for building the platform. In the meantime, several customers are already active in various stages of cooperation and are showing interest.
