SUMMARY
- Tucuvi, a Spanish voice technology startup for healthcare, has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round. Designed to support and execute clinical decisions during patient phone calls its solution offers a new approach to managing healthcare workflows through advanced automation.
Since its launch Tucuvi has focused on enabling high-volume care automation through its Care Management platform, which plays a central role in orchestrating medical workflows.
While similar technologies have emerged in recent years, Tucuvi differentiates itself through a strong emphasis on voice-based interaction and workflow optimisation. Few healthcare solutions use voice agents like LOLA to manage complex patient conversations while remaining seamlessly integrated with health systems.

The Series A round was led by Cathay Innovation and Leadwind with continued support from existing investors Frontline Ventures Seaya Ventures and Shilling demonstrating strong confidence in Tucuvi’s ability to enhance healthcare delivery and create meaningful impact in the sector.
The company was founded by CEO María González inspired by a personal tragedy after her mother’s death reportedly caused by a hospital administrative error highlighting the urgent need for more efficient and reliable healthcare processes.
Tucuvi says its voice AI agents handle “complex real-world patient phone interactions”, while the broader platform manages documentation and integration into existing health system operations.
Gonzalez said: “Healthcare is under immense pressure, and incremental tools are no longer enough.
"The only way to continue delivering high-quality care at scale is with AI that healthcare organisations can truly trust - AI that is safe, auditable, and built for real clinical environments. Weʼre proud to already serve more than 60 healthcare organisations and to be expanding rapidly to meet growing demand.ˮ
Tucuvi plans to use the new funding to expand its footprint across Europe and enter the U.S. market. The company currently works with more than 60 health systems across Europe and has supported over 300,000 patient interactions highlighting its growing scale and momentum.
Tucuvi’s voice-based technology is designed to manage clinical workflows and patient interactions including post surgical follow-ups and chronic care management while integrating seamlessly into existing healthcare systems. This flexibility distinguishes it from many other healthcare platforms.
