GIGA Storage news – GIGA Storage Appoints Kevin Dijkers to New CEO and Animesh Ranjan to CIO

Kevin Dijkers, says, “I am thrilled by the challenges and opportunities ahead and am fully committed to driving the company’s continued growth. I recognise the big shoes I’m stepping into, and I will do my utmost to meet and exceed expectations!”

They will work closely with Maarten Quist, COO and co-founder, and Martin Heerma, CFO, who will stay on the Management Board. Ruud Nijs, the former CEO and one of the founders of GIGA Storage, will take on a new role as a member of the Supervisory Board.

In this new role, he will continue to support the company, sharing his valuable experience in the energy transition and finance industries.

The company is now in its next phase, focusing on building and running large-scale BESS projects in the Benelux region. The Management Board will also continue to be supported by Mel Kroon, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, who brings years of industry experience, including his time as the former CEO of Tennet and in various chairman roles.
