Lead Ventures

Budapest-based Lead Ventures secures €100 million in funding, targeting the best startups in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The Hungarian venture capital has partnered with prominent investors in the area, including Credo Ventures, Presto Ventures, and Point9 Capital, among others, which has improved its capacity to offer portfolio firms significant resources and support.

Gcore

Gcore, a global provider of AI, cloud, networking and security solutions, secures $60 million in series A round funding from institutional and strategic investors. Gcore will strategically invest the funds in its technology, including cutting-edge AI servers with NVIDIA GPUs, to drive AI-powered innovation.

Confo Therapeutics

Confo Therapeutics, a clinical-stage company. The round was led by Ackermans & van Haaren (AvH) and included participation from additional new investors, Driehaus Capital Management and Quest for Growth (QfG), as well as existing investors, BioGeneration Ventures (BGV), Capricorn Health-tech Fund (CHF), Fund+, MINTS (University of Michigan), Perceptive Advisors, Qbic, PMV, V-Bio Ventures, VIB and Wellington Partners.

Payt

Credit management company Payt secures €55 million in funding from Partech, through its growth fund. Payt was established in 2012 by Sander Kamstra, Jelger Gustafsson, Aziz Al-Harazi, and Rob Rustenburg with the goal of improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and personalisation of credit management within your company.

TRiCares

TRiCares SAS, a privately held pioneer in the field of minimally invasive treatment of tricuspid regurgitation, announces it has raised $50 million (€46 million) in a Series D financing round.

Addionics

Addionics, an EV battery technology business, raises $39 million in a series B round of funding. Together with participation from Scania and both new and returning strategic investors, GM Ventures and Deep Insight co-led the round.

Lakera

Lakera generative AI security company secures $20 million in series A round funding led by Atomico, with participation from Citi Ventures, Dropbox, and their existing investors, including redalpine.

Maurten

Maurten, a leading global sports nutrition company, secures €20 million in funding led by international growth equity fund IRIS Ventures, which specialises in identifying disruptive next-generation consumer propositions. The round also had participation from existing investors, including CEO of Stena Sphere, Dan Sten Olsson.

Plum

Smart money app Plum secures €19 million in series B round funding from institutional investors, including a second tranche of investment from strategic partner Eurobank. New anchor investor iGrow Venture Capital has joined the round, alongside previous investors including Venture Friends and Ventura Capital.

Oceano Fresco

Sustainable seafood company Oceano Fresco, secures €17 million in funding. Oceano Fresco is a pioneer in the sustainable cultivation of clams on a large scale. The funding will support its sales operations and the expansion of its production capacity.
