SUMMARY
- AI fintech startup Vickii has been acquired by finanzen.net Group, the German financial media company behind the neo-broker finanzen.net ZERO.
Vickii started as a student project in Münster, founded by 20-year-olds Jai Bheeman, Lukas Söllner, and Alexander Brils while still at university. Their goal was to rethink investing for a digital generation, making it intuitive, easy to understand, and personalised with AI at the core of scaling that experience.
“We never doubted our vision – this acquisition shows that we were right,” adds Alexander Brils, CPO of Vickii.
“A (neo)broker had long been the logical exit route. That the right opportunity has emerged now was not something we could have predicted. With finanzen.net ZERO, we can realise our ideas faster and at greater scale, in an excellent environment.”

finanzen.net is Germany’s largest and fastest-growing financial portal, combining real-time market data, stock quotes, and economic news.
Its interactive tools, charts, and personalised features help users track markets and make informed decisions. The finanzen.net Group also operates a broad portfolio of digital and mobile financial platforms.
With the acquisition of Vickii, the finanzen.net Group is deliberately strengthening its capabilities in user-centric, personalised, AI-driven financial content and brokerage.
Vickii’s technology will be progressively integrated into the finanzen.net portal and finanzen.net ZERO, supporting investors with clearer, more tailored guidance from research and analysis through to informed investment decisions.
“When we founded Vickii, our mission was to make investing clearer and easier for everyone. With the finanzen.net Group, we can now take this mission onto a much bigger stage,” says Jai Bheeman CTO of Vickii.
The Vickii founders will remain involved, contributing their expertise to the ongoing development of AI-powered products and content across the finanzen.net Group. The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed by the parties.
“AI, when used pragmatically, can create significant value for users. We want to provide our readers with more clearly structured information and give our investors a better orientation. The Vickii team strengthens us precisely in this user-focused application of artificial intelligence,” says Muhamad Chahrour, CEO of the finanzen.net Group.
Founded in 2022 Vickii is an AI-driven investment platform built to make investing accessible for a new generation. By combining curated financial insights, education and idea sharing, Vickii empowers young investors to make informed, long-term decisions instead of impulsive trades.
