Donna funding news – Ghent-based Donna Secures $1.6 Million in Pre Seed Funding

Pitchdrive, Everywhere Ventures, Fortino, Syndicate One, WeLoveFounders, and notorious angels invested. Donna's Belgian serial entrepreneurs will use this pre-seed capital to recruit fresh talent and drive its EU and US expansion.

Nicolas Christiaen, Jonas Deprez, Xander Berkein, Lander T'Kindt, and StarApps co-founded Donna. Xander was Team Lead at Belgian unicorn Deliverect, and Lander worked at StarApps, which founded Realo and Bizzy.

Jonas Deprez, co-CEO and co-founder of Donna said, “A major challenge for sales professionals on the go, who often make 5-10 prospecting or customer visits daily, is efficiently and accurately entering relevant information into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Processing a meeting takes an average of 20 minutes, time that could be better spent on selling,”.

Leading foodservice, business services, real estate, construction, and growth capital funds have shown interest in the AI startup, formed late last year, which has 200 active users.

Sometimes a prospect's location makes recording a conversation impossible. It calls the salesman after the appointment, gathers information, and updates the CRM. It writes a client or prospect follow-up email.
