While many parts of manufacturing have become more digital, cleaning chemicals and processes are still often managed through manual testing and operator experience instead of real-time data.
According to Charlotte Stigen Låstberg, CEO and co-founder of Digiclean, industrial cleaning has long been a critical part of manufacturing, but many of the underlying processes have changed little over the years.
"We are building the tools needed to make it measurable, optimisable and aligned with modern efficiency and sustainability requirements. With the support of Unconventional Ventures and Almi Invest GreenTech, we can accelerate this transition across industries."
Founded by Charlotte Stigen Låstberg and Andreas Låstberg, Digiclean develops AI- and sensor-based technology that helps manufacturers monitor and improve industrial cleaning processes in real time.
Its plug-and-play platform continuously checks the condition of cleaning chemicals and automatically adjusts chemical levels when needed, replacing manual testing with real-time data.
