CSignum Secures £6M Series A Funding to Revolutionize Underwater IoT Communication

Founded in 2020, CSignum is addressing the growing demand for reliable, real-time data transmission in underwater and underground settings. Its flagship EM-2 solutions use patented electromagnetic field signaling (EMFS) to transmit data seamlessly through water, ice, soil, rock, and concrete—environments that have long defied traditional wireless technologies.

EM-2 has a wide range of applications, including water quality monitoring, wireless under-ship inspections, and security for critical underwater infrastructure like offshore wind turbines and oil platforms.
