Creem Raises €5 Mn Seed Funding to Build Financial Infrastructure for AI Startups

The funding round was led by Inovo VC, with existing investors Practica Capital and Antler also participating.

Several angel investors also joined the round, including Bolt founder Markus Villig, Ready Player Me founders Timmu Tõke and Kaspar Tiri, Voi’s Adam Jafer, and Viktor.com founder Fryd Wiatrowski.

"A lot of startups are racing to build agent workflows or agentic payments. We went the other way. Creem lets founders bring whatever agents they want and put them to work running and optimising their store, so revenue can grow without growing headcount, "said Gabriel Ferraz, co-founder and CEO of Creem.

Creem was founded by Google and Adyen alumni Gabriel Ferraz and Alec Erasmus. The company is building financial tools for small software companies that operate across different countries.

Its platform brings several key financial processes into one place, including billing, payments, tax compliance, payouts, and revenue management.

Creem aims to help small software teams that can now build products faster with AI tools but still face challenges when setting up the systems needed to sell and make money from those products.

The company says founders often have to use different services for checkout, tax compliance, payouts, affiliate programs, billing, analytics, and other revenue-related tasks. Creem aims to bring these functions together on a single platform.
