SUMMARY

  • Cosmico, a Milan-based future-of-work company, has raised €12 million in a mix of equity and debt funding led by P101 SGR, with participation from existing investor Prana Ventures.

Alongside the funding, Cosmico has fully acquired Flatmates, a creator agency specializing in Talent-as-a-Service models across Italy, Spain, and the United States.

The company had previously acquired a majority stake in 2024, and now holds full ownership. Cosmico operates as a holding company focused on the future of work with services spanning digital talent platforms, creator economy solutions, employee engagement and AI-driven team design.

The company plans to continue expanding through strategic acquisitions and strengthening its existing business units.

Flatmates, founded in 2021, works with creators and brands on partnerships, content production, and editorial projects for companies such as Ducati, Google, Xiaomi, NordVPN, Trade Republic, and Generali. The acquisition strengthens Cosmico’s position in the European and global creator economy.

Founded by Francesco Marino, Simone Tornabene and Matteo Roversi, Cosmico now operates across Italy and Spain, supported by a network of over 35,000 digital professionals and serving more than 300 clients, with teams based in Milan and Madrid.

The new funding will fuel the next phase of the group’s expansion strategy, which includes plans for three additional acquisitions by the end of 2026.

Francesco Marino, CEO and co-founder of the Cosmico Group, said the funding supports Cosmico’s long-term expansion plans and continued acquisition activity:

Cosmico is no longer a scale-up with a single product: we have become a future of work holding company, with multiple verticals and a growth strategy that also includes strategic acquisitions.
