TABU, founded in 2022 and headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia, is a salary transparency platform aimed at bringing openness to the IT industry. Born out of the desire to remove the stigma around salary discussions, the initiative stems from Bornfight’s internal transparency efforts—CEO Tomislav Grubišić conducted developer salary surveys in 2018–2019, which inspired the platform’s creation . TABU empowers employees to negotiate fair pay and enables employers to monitor competitiveness, helping reshape workplace equity and transparency through real-time, anonymized salary data.
