Madrid-based Climate Tech Startup Clevergy Secures €1.5 Million in Funding. Iker Marcaide created and chaired Zubi, which led this round with additional funding from Earth, a new climate-tech fund Maex Ament formed.
Philip Stehlik, Finaves, Fredrik Wikstrom, and additional business angels in the climate-tech industry. Also joining as an advisor is Adrian Tuck, the founder of Uplight, a well-known American energy management software startup.

Climate-tech company Clevergy closed its first pre-seed investment with Flash Ventures in 2022, raising €500k to create a platform that would allow energy dealers and installers to centralize home energy control.
In order to improve its product, Clevergy plans to invest in technology in this round. This includes adding more smart device compatibility, incorporating cutting-edge AI-based energy-saving models, and facilitating community energy management.
