SUMMARY

  • Humanoid a UK-based AI and robotics company, has partnered with Bosch to move toward large-scale production of humanoid robots following the successful completion of a joint proof of concept (POC) in March 2026.

The project tested Humanoid’s HMND 01 robots in a real industrial intralogistics environment at Bosch’s facility in Bühl, Germany, where the robots autonomously transferred boxes of different sizes, weights, and configurations from conveyors to trolleys.

Powered by Humanoid’s KinetIQ AI platform, the system demonstrated advanced scanning, handling, and adaptability in dynamic operating conditions.

Following the successful trial, Bosch and Humanoid signed a manufacturing agreement to support production of HMND 01 robots for the European market.

As part of its commercial expansion strategy, Humanoid is investing in Design for Excellence (DfX), focusing on manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and cost efficiency.

Under the partnership, Bosch will act as Humanoid’s contract manufacturing partner while contributing engineering expertise across production, supply chain, hardware development, and cost optimisation.

The companies will also explore integrating Bosch technologies, including sensors, actuators and drive systems, into future generations of the HMND 01 platform.

“For Humanoid, this agreement is a critical step in our roadmap, bridging the gap between POC validation and large-scale deployment. Our goal has always been to shorten the path between innovation and real-world integration, and this agreement reflects that approach. Together with Bosch, as a strong strategic manufacturing partner, we are committed to bringing humanoid robots into industrial settings, scaling their deployment, and accelerating adoption across logistics, manufacturing, and beyond,” said Artem Sokolov, Founder and CEO of Humanoid.

“This partnership is built on the shared belief in the great potential of robotics in industry”, said Peter Svejkovsky, Head of Corporate Intellectual Property. “Bosch’s goal is to advance the scaling of humanoid robotics and to further develop this field of the future. With our global production infrastructure and deep industrialisation expertise we are the perfect partner to take the step from prototype to volume manufacturing.”
