- Antwerp-based Vectrix, an AI-powered order entry platform for the logistics industry has secured €1.15 million in a seed funding round led by RDY Ventures to support its expansion into European markets, beginning with countries neighboring Belgium.
Logistics companies manage hundreds of transport requests daily often relying on administrative teams to manually input order details into transport management systems. This repetitive task can take several minutes per request and is prone to human error.
Founded in 2024 by Dimitri Allaert and Ben Selleslagh Vectrix addresses this challenge by automating the manual entry of transport orders using artificial intelligence. The platform cuts processing time from approximately eight minutes to just two minutes per order while reducing mistakes.

As Vectrix processes more data, its AI continues to learn, identifying inconsistencies and suggesting corrections for instance, when handling specialized requirements such as temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical shipments.
Ben Selleslagh, CTO at Vectrix, explained that operational workflows differ between transport companies and that customer agreements are often tailored to individual clients:
Vectrix’s AI understands each customer’s context, so it can complete missing information in a targeted way. The logistics employee always stays in control and can adjust where needed. That feedback loop helps the AI improve continuously. The efficiency gains help transport companies absorb the talent shortage and new hires get up to speed faster, too.
The platform functions as a pre–transport management system (pre-TMS) layer within existing IT infrastructures. It transforms unstructured inputs such as emails or ERP system data into validated, ready-to-use information for transport management systems.
All automated decisions are fully transparent and grounded in customer configurations, historical data, and established operating procedures. This allows logistics teams to review and approve pre-filled transport orders through a single, streamlined interface.
The newly secured funding will enable team growth, support Vectrix’s expansion across Europe, and drive further product development, including deeper integrations with transport management systems.
