Cristina Martinez, Co-Founder of Domma said, “The funding round will allow us to continue fighting the stigma of menopause so that women can experience this stage of changes in the best possible way, providing support, information and solutions adapted to the individual needs of each woman,”.

The money raised in this funding round will be utilized to support the expansion of the business, which was started in 2022 by Cristina Martínez and Mireia Roca, two Barcelona natives.

With the money raised, scientific research will be encouraged, innovative biotechnological solutions will be developed to enhance the health of adult women, and the digitization of menopausal transition care will be a priority. to open up new avenues in order to reach a larger audience.

Eduardo Salvo, partner at Antai Ventures, commented: “We believe that the work that Domma is doing to generate content and act as a speaker is essential to eliminate the taboo around menopause. It is a luxury to be able to continue supporting the founders of Domma since its inception and we hope to continue doing so for much longer. They are a very committed team with a unique vision on how to improve the quality of life of women during menopause.”

The company uses scientific research to create new, non-invasive remedies that effectively relieve the mental and physical problems brought on by the menopausal hormone imbalance. Domma now employs ten people, with its main office located in Barcelona.

Mireia Roca, Co-Founder of Domma, added: “It is key to normalize the entire menopausal transition process to experience it as the natural process that it is. But we do not have to normalize suffering with the symptoms or resign ourselves to the discomfort. More than 95% of Women will feel some of the most common physical and emotional symptoms – irritability, hot flashes, insomnia, sweating, dryness… – that are the result of hormonal imbalance and that can be alleviated with the scientifically based natural alternatives that we have developed at Domma.”
