“At a time when everyone is chasing efficiency and technology has never been more accessible, it is presence on the ground that makes the difference. By mastering the entire chain, we are our clients’ single point of contact, from the field to the measurement of impact,” said Théo Derache, CEO and co-founder of Apolownia.
Founded in 2024, Apolownia is a mission-driven company focused on creating a positive impact in the fight against climate change.
The company helps organizations build a more sustainable future by restoring natural carbon sinks and protecting biodiversity through complete climate restoration projects.
According to Apolownia, the environmental market is changing quickly. Companies are now expected to do more than just reduce their carbon emissions.
Businesses also need to remove their remaining carbon emissions and restore ecosystems to meet climate goals, including targets set by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Apolownia will use the new funding to grow its business, expand its BlueRizon project, improve its project development and deployment, and continue investing in science, technology, and environmental monitoring.
The company aims to become a global leader in high-quality ecosystem restoration by protecting and restoring mangroves, seagrass meadows, coastal peatlands, and coral reefs.
