APEXX Global Appoints Simon Hughes As CCO And Simon Eve As Head Of Sales & Partnerships

Simon Hughes has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer in recognition of his strong contribution to the company’s commercial growth.

As Head of Sales & Partnerships, he led APEXX through its most successful commercial phase to date, driving enterprise adoption of its payment orchestration platform and strengthening global payment ecosystem partnerships.

In his new role, he will lead global commercial strategy, aligning sales, partnerships, and go-to-market execution as APEXX enters its next stage of growth.

Simon Eve joins APEXX Global as Head of Sales & Partnerships, bringing over 20 years of experience in the payments industry. He joins from Trustly, where he spent more than nine years in senior leadership roles, including VP Travel & eCommerce, Director Travel & UK eCommerce, and Head of Travel.

At Trustly, he led Open Banking commercial strategy across Europe, driving new business growth, scaling merchant relationships, and building strategic partnerships across travel and eCommerce.
