Sweden-based Aligned Bio, a nanotechnology company, has raised €1.6 million in funding. Both existing and new investors, including SmiLe Inject Capital, took part in the investment round.

Aligned Bio, led by Kenneth Harlow, is developing a new technology platform using nanowires for biosensors. The company is focusing on two key areas: disease diagnostics (like cancer) and genome sequencing (mapping DNA).
