Alight funding news – Stockholm-based Alight Raises €46Million in Funding

The funding also includes support for a 100 MWp solar park project in Eurajoki, which is almost finished.

In September, Alight secured €110M from Rabobank to develop 220 MWp of small- to medium-sized solar parks in Sweden. This new funding supports Alight’s growth in renewable energy.

It plans to use the same funding model for the 100 MWp Eurajoki solar park to support three more projects in Finland. These new projects will total over 200 MWp and receive more than €110M in funding.

By the end of 2024, Finland's total solar power capacity was 1.2 GW. With this new agreement covering over 300 MWp, it could increase the country's solar capacity by about 25%.

Alight helps businesses with high energy use switch to solar power.
