AgTech Startup Sensie Raises €500k Funding Led by Division Q

The funding will support the company’s mission to make plant behaviour measurable in real time for professional greenhouse growers.

Founded in 2025 Sensie develops wireless plant health sensors that go beyond traditional climate and irrigation data by capturing real-time physiological signals from plants, including growth, water status, stress and recovery. These insights help growers make more precise decisions around irrigation, ventilation, and climate control.

Its first product, Sensie Omni, combines plant-level feedback with root-zone and climate data to reflect the full cycle of Supply (root zone), Demand (micro-climate), and Response (plant stress) in one device.

The new funding will be used to improve hardware and software, expand greenhouse deployments and accelerate commercial rollout, while the company also seeks distribution partners and research collaborations.
