In a LinkedIn article, co-founder Wolf notes that the United States is experiencing a serious health crisis due to the high prevalence of chronic illnesses, the pervasiveness of childhood obesity, and the 60% diet's composition of highly processed foods. This emphasises how urgently we need better eating choices that are supported by science.
It's strategy is to revers these worrying trends by using research to deliver individualised dietary recommendations in response to this pressing issue. Tim Spector, Jonathan Wolf, and George Hadjigeorgiou created it in 2017.
The company's business model places a strong emphasis on the value of customised nutrition in addressing the nation's growing health issues. Although ZOE is still in its infancy, it now provides membership services in the US.
