Xavveo funding news – Berlin-based Xavveo Raises $8.6Million in Seed Funding

It plans to use the funds to develop its Photonic Radar system grow its engineering team and strengthen partnerships with automakers and tech companies.

Xavveo: Transforming the Autonomous Vehicle Industry

Xavveo, founded by Dr. Sven Otte, Dr. Stefan Meister, and Dr. Ulrich Keil (a former Intel expert), is working to revolutionize autonomous vehicles and other industries with its distributed photonic radar system.

The company’s radar technology improves safety, reliability, and efficiency in self-driving cars. Using Silicon Photonics technology their system places radar sensors around the vehicle offering highly accurate readings with an angular resolution of less than 0.1°.
