  • WeTravel is a leading platform for multi-day travel businesses, has announced that it raised over €78 million in its Series C funding round. The round was led by Sapphire Ventures, with strong participation from Left Lane Capital, Base10, Cross Creek, and other angel investors.

The new capital will help WeTravel accelerate innovation across its platform by expanding global payment infrastructure, developing AI-powered tools to automate manual tasks, and creating a WeTravel Network ecosystem that allows operators and partners to grow their businesses in real time. By streamlining bookings, payments, and connections between suppliers and operators, WeTravel is providing technology that has not yet existed for multi-day travel businesses the last segment of the multi-trillion-dollar travel industry to fully digitize.

“This funding round is a milestone for the operators who trust us to power their business,” said Ted Clements, CEO of WeTravel. He continued: “With this funding, we’ll make it even easier for operators to run every part of their business in one place. Multi-day travel is full of complex workflows–collecting payments, reconciling payments with bookings and partner pay-outs, and managing trip details–all of which take time and create room for error. WeTravel takes that work and makes it systematically flow, helping operators run more efficiently, grow faster – and focus on delivering life-changing experiences.”

Founded in 2014 and now headquartered in San Francisco and Amsterdam, WeTravel supports thousands of operators offering a wide range of travel experiences, from yoga retreats and safari adventures to student tours and pilgrimage programs. Its platform allows companies to manage both online and offline bookings, handle all pre- and post-trip tasks, process global payments at local rates, and pay suppliers instantly without processing fees.

With the new funding, WeTravel plans to:

  • Continue investing in Artificial Intelligence (AI): Enhance AI-driven tools within its Itinerary Builder to turn PDFs into interactive itineraries with a single prompt and customize trips in seconds.
  • Develop Agentic tools: Save travel businesses time and reduce errors by automating invoice review and payment, traveler data collection and editing, and marketing tasks.
  • Expand the B2B WeTravel Network: Grow the largest B2B multi-day travel network, helping travel businesses find, coordinate, and pay or invoice vendors and suppliers, while supporting global expansion for more operators.
  • Scale globally: Open new offices in Chicago, Amsterdam, Sydney, and Baku to better serve clients worldwide.

“Behind curated multi-day trips like retreats and tours is a business managing a multitude of moving parts – from payments and vendors to contracts and itineraries. WeTravel is solving these challenges with a purpose-built operating system, now enhanced by AI-powered tools that remove friction and help operators scale. We’re excited to support Ted and the team as they expand globally and shape the future of multi-day travel,” said Rajeev Dham, Partner at Sapphire Ventures and WeTravel’s newest board member.

“This is not capital for us, it’s capital for the operators who trust us and use our platform from morning to night. When we remove friction from their businesses, we open the door to more transformative experiences for millions of travelers,” Clements said. “We simply want to take away the work they don’t want to do, and shouldn’t need to do, and give that time back to them to build more experiences – and grow their business.”

WeTravel has helped thousands of operators run trips in 206 countries, serving over 1.6 million travelers. In March, the company introduced new features such as an integrated Itinerary Builder and Supplier Transfers, establishing itself as the first true Operating System for the multi-day travel industry.
